GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A house fire broke out at around 7:30 p.m. Sunday on 22nd Avenue, south of Van Buren Street near Hudsonville.

Several fire departments responded to the blaze, including Georgetown Township, Hudsonville and Jamestown Township, although no one was injured.

The fire started in a crawl space and spread up a wall into the home's second-story attic. By about 9 p.m., it was extinguished.

The damage is repairable but likely will cost about $60,000 to $70,000.

The cause of the blaze is not confirmed. Due to where it started, a Georgetown Township official said it's possibly electrical.
