'Environmental concern' at Mead Johnson
Area cleaned; no product affected

ZEELAND, Mich. (WOOD) - A Zeeland baby food maker is dealing with an undisclosed environmental issue at its manufacturing plant.
Mead Johnson officials told 24 Hour News 8 they recently discovered the problem in a small area of the plant. The area is undergoing a full cleaning.
Company officials say most plant operations continue as normal and no product was impacted by the issue.
Some employees were shifted to maintenance tasks and others' work schedules were temporarily altered for the duration of the cleaning.
