HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) - Five men are now facing federal charges after a July gang crackdown in Holland.
Arturo 'Art' Deleon, Raymon 'King Snappy' Gaytan Jr., Francisco 'Chubaka' Martinez Jr., Ramon 'Jamon' Morales and Desidario Amaro have been held on criminal complaints since their arrests.
Guns and ammunition were found at the homes of Deleon, Gaytan, Martinez and Morales on the day of the multi-agency crackdown. They are all thought to be members of the Holland Latin Kings gang. Local law enforcement and confidential sources said Gaytan is a known "enforcer" of the gang.
Indictments were filed Wednesday against each suspect, charging them with federal weapons charges.
Two other men, Nicholas Bernal and Francinet Cruz, were arrested in July and may be connected to the gangs and guns. They also face federal weapons charges.
