SPRING LAKE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash around 2 p.m. Monday in Spring Lake Township.

Sarah Williams was driving east in the 14000 block of Leonard Road when witnesses said she turned left to enter a driveway and into the path of a westbound van.

Williams, 18, and her passenger, 20-year-old A.J. Modak, were pinned in their Chevrolet Malibu and had to be extricated, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department.

Both Spring Lake residents were taken to a Grand Rapids hospital. Modak is in serious condition and Williams is stable.

The driver of the GMC Safari van, 77-year-old Don Bolthouse of Spring Lake, was taken to a Grand Haven hospital and listed in fair condition.
