2 men, women sought in home invasion

PARK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Two men and a woman broke into a Park Township home in the early hours of Monday, assaulted the homeowner and stole money, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department.

Around 2:30 a.m., the three people burst into the home in the 1700 block of Perry Street. While two of the suspects went through the home looking for money, the third suspect allegedly assaulted the homeowner, police said.

No gunshots were fired in the incident, though authorities believe one of the suspects had a handgun.

The suspects are described as:

• A black man in his 20s, having light features, wearing a mask, a dark jacket and khaki pants
• A white man around 6 feet 1 inch, 160 pounds, wearing a black mask, dark shirt and black khakis
• A woman in her 20s, heavy-set, with sandy brown hair down to the small of her back, wearing blue jeans, a blue jean jacket and no mask

They fled the scene in a late 1990s Chevrolet Cavalier.
