SANDUSKY, Mich. (WOOD) - A Tennessee boy taken by his non-custodial mother has been found safe in Michigan, the Benton County (Tenn.) Sheriff's Department told 24 Hour News 8.

Ayden Smith, 4, was in Big Sandy, Tenn. last week visiting his 30-year-old mom, Jessica Coleman.

She was scheduled to return the boy to his father after the visitation, but the boy and mother had not been seen since Oct. 4.

Authorities thought Ayden and Coleman may have been traveling to Morley in Mecosta County (Mich.).

Ayden and Coleman were located early Monday in Sandusky, east of Saginaw.

A custodial interference warrant was issued for Coleman, who was later taken into custody, WSMV reports.
