EVART, Mich. (WOOD) - Two 15-year-olds are in custody after allegedly stabbing an Osceola County man in the head and fracturing his skull.
Around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Michigan State Police said, a fight broke out in Evart. When the troopers arrived at the scene, they found the 41-year-old man stabbed in the head.
Police found the knife at the scene.
The teens were arrested at the scene. One was arrested for attempted homicide, felonious assault, being a minor in possession, resisting and obstructing and disorderly conduct. The other was arrested for conspiracy to commit homicide, being a minor in possession and disorderly conduct.
The man was rushed to an area hospital and then transported to another facility for advanced treatment. The stab wound punctured his skull and caused a depressed skull fracture, police said.
The teens are being held in a juvenile facility and the investigation continues.
