BARRYTON, Mich. (WOOD) - A teenager has been charged after police said he broke into a home and stole a shotgun last summer.
A four-count felony warrant had been issued for Antonio Jones, 17, of Big Rapids.
Officers with the Barryton Police Department arrested him on Tuesday. He was arraigned the following day with home invasion, larceny from a building, larceny of weapons, and felony firearms. A bond was set at $50,000.
Police said Jones burglarized a residence on Arthur Street in Barryton in July 2011.
The weapon was recovered during a drug raid last month at a residence in the 700 block of Marion Avenue in Big Rapids.
Jones is currently on probation for an unrelated larceny charge from April 2011.
The Mecosta County Sheriff's Office and the Big Rapids Department of Public Safety assisted with the investigation.
