Report:Son stabs stepfather with knife

HART TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A young man is in custody after stabbing his stepfather with a steak knife.
Michigan State Police responded to the attack at around 4:20 p.m. Tuesday. The incident occurred in the 1400 block of N. 100th Ave.
Troopers said that a physical altercation happened between the young man and the stepfather, which resulted in the stepfather being stabbed.
Witnesses told police that the young man was the aggressor in the incident.
According to police, the young adult stabbed his stepfather with a household steak knife. As a result, the stepfather had multiple laceration wounds to his shoulder, arm and hand.
The wounds were not considered to be life-threatening.
The young man was taken into custody and has been lodged in a juvenile detention facility pending court proceedings.
