BELMONT, Mich. (WOOD) - The Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis, were spotted in several areas across West Michigan Sunday night and Monday morning.
The lights are an atmospheric phenomenon consisting of bands of light caused by charged solar particles following the Earth's magnetic lines of force.
