BRIDGETON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A Bridgeton Township mobile home was destroyed in a Sunday morning fire.
Crews were called around 5:30 a.m. to the 7800 block of W. 116th Street, south of Fremont. By the time they arrived, the double-wide mobile home was already engulfed in flames.
Water flow to hydrants near the home was stalled because "everything was freezing" in cold temperatures, according to the Fremont Fire Department.
Tankers were brought in to fight the fire. Crews dumped about 12,000 gallons of water on the blaze.
No one was hurt.
