MI pilot offers Mile-High Club flights

TRVAERSE CITY, Mich. (AP) - A Traverse City pilot is offering passengers an opportunity to gain membership into an exclusive, and intimate, aerial club.
Scott Conaway tells MLive.com he's devised a safe and private way for passengers to join the "mile-high club."
The 45-year-old pilot who offers scenic air tours on his Piper Cherokee Six aircraft says the idea started off as a joke, but became reality after he saw that other businesses offer similar services nationwide.
Conaway removed the rear seats of the plane and added a bed complete with red sheets. A privacy curtain separates the cockpit from the passenger area. He'll even make sure there are chocolates, flowers or other romantic treats available on board.
Conaway one-hour flights start at $390 and include a certificate of membership to commemorate the event.
