TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (AP) - The Grand Traverse County jail has seen a lot of Michael E. Morgan over the past 18 years, and he admits authorities may be getting tired of his face.
The Traverse City Record-Eagle says the 64-year-old homeless man has been arrested 105 times on about 130 complaints since 1994.
There aren't any serious offenses on Morgan's arrest sheet, and he says the longest he's ever spent in jail was eight months.
Altogether, he figures he's spent about nine years behind bars.
Morgan says he grew up in Columbus, Ohio, earned a BA from the University of South Florida and moved to the Traverse City area in 1993.
He says he's a chronic alcoholic but says the lack of the steadying effects of a romantic relationship better explains his problems.
