CANON CITY, Colo. (WOOD) - Two men who escaped from a Lake County minimum security correctional facility stole nine vehicles before getting caught nearly two weeks later, the Grand Rapids Press is reporting.
Colorado police told the Press that Gregory Bradshaw and Kenneth Grauman II, and their girlfriends -- Laura Grauman and Brittany Rector -- stole a total of nine vehicles while on the run.
The suspects were arrested Oct. 11 after checking into a motel in Canon City, Colo., where police say the suspects also set up a meth lab.
Five vehicle thefts were previously attributed to the escapees and their girlfriends:
The youngest of the four suspects -- 17-year-old Rector -- made her first appearance in a Colorado juvenile court Monday.
The other three are expected back in a Colorado courtroom in the coming days. They face a variety of state and federal charges for crimes committed in several states.
It is not yet known when they will be extradited to Michigan, where they face the most serious charges.
