MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) - A 27-year-old woman died Wednesday after losing control of her pick-up truck at US-31 and Laketon Avenue in Muskegon.
Megan Krypel was headed north on US-31 when she began to swerve from lane to lane, investigators said in a release. Around 5:40 p.m., she was driving a GMC pickup that hit one car, swerved again and left the road. The pickup vaulted over a vehicle that was on the on-ramp to US-31 from Laketon and ended up in a dirt parking area between the on-ramp and the overpass to US-31.
Emergency crews rushed the Fruitport Township woman to an area hospital, where she died later from her injuries.
No one else was injured in the accident.
The Muskegon Police Department continues to look into this crash.
