MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) - Beach volleyball is not just being played at the London Olympics.

On the beach at Pere Marquette , 16 containers will be placed near the water. The containers will stand a total of 20 feet high and on the top will be a volleyball court.

The event, created by Wellspring Prep High School , hired Rob Bliss to develop and execute this event, which will be filmed for a documentary.

Bliss will answer details on the reasons behind this event at a Saturday afternoon press conference. However, on Tuesday, people will be able to go to the full-size volleyball court for free.

Bliss said this is separate from his events with the city of Grand Rapids, and is working to pay back the money he owes the city.

Both Rockford Construction and Lamar Construction volunteered their equipment and services.
