MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WOOD) - A Muskegon Heights man was put on life support at a hospital after being shot in the head in the early hours of Wednesday.

Police continue to search for two people of interest wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting.

Family members told 24 Hour News 8 that 33-year-old Frank Harris, also known as "Twin," was shot in front of his home on Wood Street around 1:30 a.m.

They said Harris exited his home to break up a fight or argument and was shot in the back of the head.

He was rushed to Hackley Hospital in Muskegon. His family said he is being kept on life support before doctors remove his organs for donation.

Harris is originally from Detroit and has been living in Muskegon Heights for some time.

Muskegon Heights police told 24 Hour News 8 the neighborhood where the shooing happened isn't necessarily a problem area, but a lot of people are known to spend time there.

Craig Lewis and Davitta Jones are the two people who police are searching for in the case. You are asked to call the Muskegon Heights Police Department at 231.733.8900 if you see Lewis or Jones.
