Masked gunman robs Fruitport Twp store

FRUITPORT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - The search continues for a man accused of robbing a Muskegon County business.

A masked man armed with a handgun walked into the BP Cloverville E-Z Mart, 3576 Heights Ravenna Road, and demanded the clerk give him some cash, police said.

The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene around 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Multiple police agencies and a K-9 unit tried searching for the thief.
