MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) - Muskegon police are investigating a possible shooting outside a party store.
Officers responded at 6:37 p.m. Saturday to calls of a person shot outside of Wood Street Market, 1149 Wood St.
The 21-year-old victim told police he was shot.
Witnesses at the scene said they saw a man bleeding from hjs face. They told 24 Hour News 8 the man told them he was robbed and shot, though none of the witnesses saw it happen. Other people reported hearing gunshots.
Police told 24 Hour News 8 they are not confirming that a robbery or shooting took place.
The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries. Police hope an interview with the victim with provide more answers.
