GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - One of the two men thought to be involved in what were known as the Pillowcase Burglaries pleaded guilty Feb. 10 in Muskegon Circuit Court.
Ronald McLean, Jr. admitted to three counts of home invasion. He was sentenced March 8 to 11 to 40 years in prison.
The case began in September when more than 25 homes in Muskegon, Ottawa and Newaygo counties were broken into, with the thieves using pillowcases to carry away stolen money, jewelry and silver.
McLean and another man, Greg Griswold, were arrested.
