MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WOOD) - The Muskegon Heights school board office was raided Wednesday morning by state officials investigating if federal funds were improperly used.
Under the direction of the Michigan Attorney General's office and the Michigan Department of Education, a search warrant was served at the school board offices.
The district superintendent told 24 Hour News 8 they're being investigated to determine if funds for Title 1 , which deals with money for impoverished districts, were being used properly.
24 Hour News 8 will have more information as soon as possible.
