MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) - One day after a suburban Chicago podiatrist was charged with placing a video camera in a locker room shower in Muskegon, more victims are coming forward.

Muskegon police could not give 24 Hour News 8 an exact number, but did confirm all of the latest victims were in that Muskegon Community College locker room on Monday.

Ninos Jando was arrested after men in the locker room, including members of the MCC Wrestling Team, noticed something odd about the toiletry bag someone hung from a shower head.

A camera lens was poking through a cut out.

Jando, who has no known connection to the school,  was still in the locker room and was detained by an MCC employee.

He was arrested by Muskegon police who found more cameras, more video and additional electronic equipment.

All were of men in showers, and all apparently were taken without anyone's permission.

The case is complicated by the fact not all the videos were shot in that MCC shower.

As more victims are interviewed, Muskegon police are trying to identify where those videos were shot.

There could be dozens of victims, investigators said. They plan to reach out to other colleges and gyms between here and Chicago.

Grand Valley State University, Hope College and other area schools have not reported any unusual activity involving someone matching Jando's description, 24 Hour News 8 learned. But it may take time before other victims at other locations come forward.

The Skokie, Illinois man was charged Wednesday with three counts of Capturing/Distributing Image of Unclothed Person. It's a felony with a five-year sentence, and he is being held on a $200,000 bond.

One reason for the high bond is because of a very similar case that developed between 2008-09. That case came to light during Jando's arraignment Wednesday.

On December 6, 2008, police and prosecutors in Illinois told 24 Hour News 8, an off-duty officer working out at a St. Charles, Illinois health club spotted a man -- later identified as Ninos Danny Jando -- acting suspicious.

Police talked to Jando but he was not arrested.

In March 2009, someone turned over videos of men in the shower of that St. Charles health club to police in Skokie. They won't say who turned the videos over to them.

Jando was charged with unauthorized videotaping - a misdemeanor - on March 16, 2009. On April 9, he pleaded guilty to the reduced charge of disorderly conduct, received a $1200 fine and given non-reporting probation.

A spokesman for the Kane County State's Attorney told 24 Hour News 8 court records from 2009 that may give some details why the original charge was reduced are in storage and are not readily available.

But the information on the previous case gave the Muskegon prosecutor enough details to convince the judge to order a high bond for Jando.

He's due back in court on February 27.
