FOND DU LAC, Wisc. (WLUK/WOOD) - Wisconsin authorities have arrested the man they say caused a multi-vehicle crash that left one Twin Lake motorcyclist dead and several other Muskegon-area motorcyclists injured.

Dan Winsemius, 59, was killed after a car driven by a Wisconsin man barreled into a formation of 12 motorcyclists from the Muskegon Motorcycle Gang. It happened Thursday afternoon on Highway 151 northeast of Milwaukee.

Now, Wisconsin authorities have arrested Clinton Lovelace, 25, in connection with the crash, according to WLUK out of Green Bay, Wisc.

According to WLUK, Lovelace is expected to be charged Tuesday with homicide by negligent operation of a motor vehicle. The Associated Press reports he will also be charged with felony bail jumping.

Lovelace, who was also injured in the wreck and had to be extricated from his car, was released from a Neenah, Wisc. hospital on Sunday and immediately arrested, WLUK reports.

Fond du Lac County District Attorney Dan Kaminsky told WLUK that Lovelace was found with two unopened syringes in his pants pocket at the scene of the crash, which is a violation of his probation related to another Wisconsin drug case.

Capt. Dean Will of the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Department told WLUK that as of Monday, three of the crash victims remain in the intensive care unit at a Neenah, Wisc. hospital.

Two other motorcyclists are still at a Fond du Lac hospital, Will said. One is expected to be released Monday. The other is listed in fair condition and could be released as early as Wednesday.

Lovelace remains lodged in the Fond du Lac County Jail, WLUK reports.

A memorial for Winsemius is planned for Saturday.
