GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The suspects in a bank robbery that ended in their deaths and the death of a Walker police officer are being looked at in connection to two daring Allegan County bank robberies earlier this summer.
"It's a real good possibility," Lt. Charles Christensen told 24 Hour News 8.
The brazenness of this robbery sounded familiar to detectives: two masked robbers with long guns who burst into the rural banks by 10:30 a.m.
Investigators from the Allegan robberies are working with local officials and the FBI on this case.
In September, one of those detectives told 24 Hour News 8 his concern was the more brazen the suspects got, the greater the chances someone would get hurt.
24 Hour News 8 will continue to follow this story.
