MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) - "Make sure you tell the cops to be careful when they're coming he's got the shotgun and said he's waiting for them."

That's one part of the 911 call obtained by 24 Hour News 8 from a domestic dispute in Muskegon that ended with an officer being shot in the leg.

Paul Osborn allegedly shot one man in the leg during a domestic dispute. He's then accused of shooting Sgt. Monica Shirey in the leg with a shotgun after she arrived at the home in the 4700 block of Oak Road to help county deputies at a domestic dispute.

The 911 calls include several different calls and highlight the chaos going on. At one point, Osborn's 14-year-old son also had a gun, though the context is unclear.

There were a number of teens in the house at the time because a daughter was having a birthday party.

"We've got an officer-involved shooting, we got one officer wounded and the bad guy is wounded," the 911 dispatcher is heard to say.

Moments later, "We got the area secured. ... Looking for the bad guy. He was standing behind a tree and opened fire on the officers while they were searching the area."

Osborn was shot by officers in the incident. He was charged while still in his hospital bed in Muskegon and faces the most serious charges for allegedly shooting Sgt. Shirey, who is recovering.

Osborn, 44, faces six criminal counts in that case, including assault with intent to commit murder and assault with a dangerous weapon.

Another five charges stem from the domestic dispute itself, including assault with a different gun and felony firearms charges.
