DOUGLAS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - One person was injured when the vehicle she was a passenger in rear-ended another vehicle.
A 33-year-old Stanton female driver was stopped on W. Stanton Road and waiting to turn left into the Tri-Lakes Store near N. Hillman Road in Douglas Township.
Another eastbound vehicle driven by a 70-year-old Greenville man collided into the back of the woman's vehicle around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.
The man's 71-year-old wife was his passenger. She suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital.
As the investigation continues, police said alcohol was not a factor and all of the occupants were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
