3 alarms scare off attempted burglars
Three separate businesses in Montcalm County

HOME TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Three businesses in Montcalm County were broken into early Wednesday morning but nothing was stolen, police said.
It appears the alarms at all three stores scared off the suspects.
An alarm sounded about 2:30 a.m. at Maxfield's Restaurant, 11228 S. Wyman Road in Home Township. The suspects forced their way into the business, which sustained some damage, police said.
While deputies were still at this scene investigating, a second alarm sounded 45 minutes later at the Dollar General store, 7906 N. Crystal Road in Richland Township. The suspects again forced their way into the business, police said. The building also sustained minor damage.
Then around 7:30 a.m. the owners of Farmer in the Dell, 8950 Howard City Edmore Road, north of Vestaburg, noticed their business was burglarized.
Descriptions of the suspects are not known at this time.
