WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) - Jordan Lamrouex, 4, lost his life Friday night after falling under a float in a homecoming parade in Wyoming.
His death has left many in the community looking for ways to offer support to his family.
The Wyoming Park High School class of 2002 took cash donations at its 10-year high school reunion Saturday night for the Lamrouex family.
Jordan's mother graduated with the class and it wanted to help her family.
"When something like this happens it is very jarring to such a tight community, but at the same time a community like ours always pulls together," James Michel, a 2002 graduate, said.
Michel said the cash donations may just be the beginning. They want to find out the family's wishes to see if there is anything else they can do to help.
