GAINES TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A woman was robbed at gunpoint in a Gaines Township apartment parking lot Monday, according to the Kent County Sheriff's Department.
The woman told authorities she was parking her car at Crossing Apartments in front of 1388 Cobb Drive SE when she was approached by two men.
She said the men, both of whom had bandanas over their faces, threatened her with a handgun and stole her large white purse.
Then, she said, they fled on foot.
The first suspect is described as a black male about 20 years old between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8. He had a "skinny" build and short, wavy hair. He was wearing a gray T-shirt, baggy jeans or jean shorts, and had a red bandana over his face.
The second suspect is also described as a 20-year-old black male. He was taller the than the first suspect, but no other details are available.
