GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - It's possible a thunderstorm may hit West Michigan Sunday after a cold front passes. Officially, West Michigan -- specifically south and southeast of Grand Rapids toward Kalamazoo, Battle Creek and Coldwater -- is in the Slight Risk Area for storms.

But that cold front won't really be cold. Temperatures may cool to around 76 on Monday, but the scorching heat returns for later in the week.

The rip current risk is low
at Lake Michigan, with water temperatures between 60-67.

If you go to Grand Haven, you may still be able to see the sand sculptures made on Saturday by 30 teams. Winners were crowned in various categories.

It may inspire you to make your own sand castle.
