GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A Grandville volleyball trainer who sexually assaulted two young athletes could spend up to 15 years in prison.
Florencio Castillo was sentenced Thursday to two to 15 years for a charge of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and one to two years for a charge of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct. Those sentences will be served at the same time.
In May, victims told authorities Castillo touched them inappropriately during training sessions at Impact Dynamics on 28th Street.
Castillo pleaded guilty to the charges as part of a plea deal in September.
