GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A Grandville volleyball trainer, accused of sexually assaulting juvenile female athletes, pleaded guilty Monday to two separate counts.
Florencio Castillo, who was working at Impact Dynamics on 28th Street, was holding one-on-one training sessions with juvenile girls. Police received at least two complaints of sexual assault involving him when he was arrested on May 2 on two counts and then was charged with four more counts later that month.
In the plea agreement, all the victims were rolled into one case. He admitted to one count of criminal sexual conduct in the fourth-degree (using force or coercion) and one count of CSC in the third-degree with someone between the age of 13-15.
He will be sentenced Oct. 4 and is expected to get between two to 15 years in prison.
