PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Snowy footprints helped Kent County police track down three men accused in various crimes.
The sheriff's department on Jan. 5 received several complaints of property being stolen from unlocked vehicles and garages in Plainfield Township.
Deputies responded the next morning to a complaint of a possible larceny from a vehicle in the 2900 block of Four Mile Road NE.
Footprints in the snow led to a nearby residence where deputies interviewed three people who were arrested for a home invasion and larceny from a vehicle complaint in the 4400 block of Chandy Drive NE on Jan. 5.
Property was recovered from the suspects' residence, linking them to multiple complaints.
The suspects were taken to the Kent County Correctional Facility and arraigned on Monday on charges of home invasion and larceny from a vehicle:
Both Dalmans were released on bond, while Compston is being held on a $5,500 bond.
