GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A 16-year-old turned himself into police for questioning regarding a shooting on Jan. 6 that wounded a pastor at a youth event.

Jawon Martin turned himself into the Kent County Jail Friday evening, according to police. No charges have been made.

On that Friday night, a group of young men were denied entrance to Streams of Hope by the event director, MarShon Peoples. Shots rang out - perhaps as many as 25 - and Peoples was  shot in the head. He is recovering.

The investigation continues.
