WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) - Power has been restored to a stretch of 28th Street in Wyoming that caused outages and traffic backups in the area Monday morning.

The outages began around 5:30 a.m. near Clyde Park Avenue and were restored around 9 a.m., Consumers Energy told 24 Hour News 8.

The outages stretched to U.S. 131, 36th Street and 32nd Street, affecting more than 3,000 customers and traffic lights.

Also, the top of a semi-truck hit a left-turn traffic light at the intersection of 28th Street and Clyde Park Avenue, causing the light to dangle from the pole. So crews had to fix this problem as well.
