WALKER, Mich. (WOOD) - No one was seriously hurt after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole in Walker Sunday.

But the wreck did result in more than 1,700 Consumers Energy customers losing electrical service.

The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. near Three Mile Road and Alpine Avenue.

Electricity was restored around 6:30 p.m. after crews cleared a guy-wire that had been forced into the primary lines in the collision, according to a Consumers Energy spokesperson.
