CEDAR SPRINGS, Mich. (WOOD) - The Cedar Springs Police Department is looking for an additional suspect in a home invasion assault.
The incident happened around 6:15 p.m. Feb. 13 in the 100 block of S. First Street.
The 26-year-old victim told police a neighbor came over to apologize about an incident that happened the day before. The victim said once the neighbor was inside the residence, he started to assault him, and at some point, the victim realized a second man got involved.
The victim was treated at the scene and then transported to a hospital for several injuries.
Police identified one of the suspects as 29-year-old Joslin Patrick McEwen, who now faces a home invasion charge.
However, police are still looking for another suspect who is described as a heavy-set white man. The victim mentioned seeing tattoos of the Monster drink logo on the suspect's neck. The victim said the logo looks like three icicles hanging down and a tattoo of the letters "DC."
According to police, there may have been a third person in a white-colored pickup truck, possibly a Ford, with five orange-colored roof lights.
Anyone with additional information is asked to call the Cedar Springs Police Department at 616.696.1311 or Silent Observer at 616.744.2345.
