PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Two people are in the Kent County Correctional Facility following a methamphetamine bust at a Plainfield Township residence.
It was 8:37 p.m. Sunday when sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the 8300 block of Wateredge Drive NE regarding the well-being of a female.
Police were told she was under the influence of heroin and other drugs, according to a news release.
Deputies arrived saw the female and a male run out the back of the residence. The suspects were arrested a short time later.
Police searched the residence and found an active meth lab and evidence of other drug use.
The suspects were taken into custody on a charge of manufacturing meth, as well as outstanding warrants.
