Man chases robber, thrown off car

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) - A Wyoming man was injured after being thrown from the hood of a vehicle after police said he chased a man who had just stolen his wallet.

It happened around 10 p.m. in the 1900 block of Burlingame Avenue SW in Wyoming.

Dispatchers said the 47-year-old victim from Wyoming tried to stop the suspect from driving away, and jumped on the hood of the vehicle.

As the suspect sped away, the victim fell off the vehicle.

The condition of the victim is unknown.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, who was driving a white, four-door sedan.
