GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The one-time manager of a Catholic parish and youth organization pleaded guilty Monday to embezzling funds from each.
James Kulfan was facing a charge of embezzling $134,545 from St. John Vianney School and Parish. He was also charged with embezzling nearly $20,000 from DYMO Ministries , a Catholic youth organization.
Just before his trial was to begin, Kulfan pleaded guilty to both counts: embezzling from a non-profit and embezzling $100,000 or more.
He'll be sentenced November 29.
