GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A 42-year-old man with ties to West Michigan is being sought by US Marshals for a murder in Mississippi.
Glen Joseph Davis faces a felony charge of stealing a car in Mississippi, but is also wanted for questioning in a murder.
The Biloxi Sun-Herald reports Davis is believed to be the man caught on surveillance cameras at a store after the remains of businessman Maurice Colly were found in an apartment complex he owned. Colly was 83.
Authorities said Davis was last known to be driving a red, two-door 2005 Hyundai Accent with Mississippi license plate KAA982. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 190 pounds, and has blue eyes and blonde or strawberry hair.
He has friends in the Grand Rapids area, as well as Allegan and Kalamazoo counties. His previous criminal history includes burglary, fraud, escape and extortion, and is considered armed and dangerous.
If you have any information you are asked to contact 911 or the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force at 616.262.6053.
