CEDAR SPRINGS, Mich. (WOOD) - Cedar Springs police are investigating whether three recent robberies may be related.
The latest robbery happened about 9:50 p.m. Monday at the Family Video store on South Main Street in Cedar Springs.
Two female clerks told police the man was in the store for about 20 minutes without a mask, waiting for others to leave.
They told police he eventually approached the counter, armed with a long hunting knife and pulled a stocking cap over his face.
The man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robbery is the police department's third robbery in just 10 days.
Cedar Springs police describe the suspect as a white man with dark hair, about 30 years old, 5'8", weighing about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark coat.
Police said the description matches the suspect description at the other two recent robberies at the Admiral Gas Station on Dec. 22 and the Kent Theater on Dec. 29, both located on Main Street.
If you have any information you're asked to call the Cedar Springs Police Department at (616) 696-1311.
