GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - One of the suspects in a September 2012 double shooting could spend up to 44 years in prison.

Julius Jackson was arrested after two men were shot in a unit at Woodfield Apartments in Gaines Township on Sept. 7. Neither victim was killed.

Jackson was sentenced to two years in prison for a felony firearm charge and six to 20 years for an armed robbery charge. The sentences will be served back-to-back.

Jackson was on parole at the time of the crime after serving six years of a 30-year sentence for armed robbery. He will have to serve the rest of that prison term consecutively to the new sentences.
