KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) - A man died after police in Kentwood said he failed to stop his car at an intersection and his vehicle collided with a semi-truck.
The crash happened at 2:35 a.m. Saturday at 44th Street and Broadmoor Avenue (M-37) SE.
The driver of the eastbound car did not stop at the flashing red traffic light. The driver of a northbound semi-truck was unable to avoid a collision with the car.
The driver of the car -- 25-year-old Samuel Vander Wall from Allendale -- was pronounced dead at the scene.
