WALKER, Mich. (WOOD) - A man fired gunshots into the air and ran from the scene after being kicked out of a Walker bar. He was later arrested.
The man got into a fight inside The Muze Bar, 925 Four Mile Road NW, in Alpine Township and was escorted out of the bar. It appeared the fight was a domestic issue, police said.
When he got outside, he pulled a gun from his waistband and fired shots into the air, and then ran, police said.
Police K-9 units were called to the scene and found the man about an hour later on Yorkland Drive.
Deputies believe they recovered his weapon. No one was hurt in the incident.
The Kent County Prosecutor's Office reviewed the case and has issued these charges against the suspect -- receiving and concealing a stolen firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm under the influence, and attempting to assault/resist/obstruct a police officer.
The suspect's bond was set at $50,000.
