KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) - A man suspected of robbing the Sleep Inn in Kentwood on May 18 was arrested on an unarmed robbery charge.
Julian Loviska was picked up by Kentwood police on June 8 at a Kentwood home. Several items connected to the robbery were found at the home.
He's being held at the Kent County Jail.
On June 4, the same hotel at 4284 29th St. SE. was robbed around 1:40 a.m. Two other hotels in the area were also robbed recently -- Homewood Suites, 3920 Stahl Dr. SE in Grand Rapids on May 22, and the Ramada Plaza Hotel, 3333 28th St. SE in Kentwood, on May 29.
Authorities continue to look into these robberies to determine if Loviska may be involved.
