Kitchen fire damages Cascade home

CASCADE TWP., Mich. (WOOD) - Firefighters saved the family dog from a home on Thornapple River Drive Saturday afternoon after a fire started in the kitchen.
The fire started just before 3 p.m. at the house in the 2700 block of the road. No one was home at the time of the fire.
The damage caused by the blaze was mainly contained to the kitchen and the breezeway of the house.
