KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) - Three adults escaped a fire inside a Kent County home. One of the residents -- a woman -- suffered minor burns on a hand.

The fire sparked in a bedroom in the back of the home in the 5800 block of Wing Avenue SE, Kentwood Fire Captain Jim Harkes told 24 Hour News 8 at the scene.

The blaze was confined to the bedroom, and officials do not know how it started.
