GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The Kent County Sheriff’s Department reports numerous home invasion suspects have been arrested in three separate cases.

In one case, deputies discovered a suspicious, silver Honda Odyssey parked at an RV business off S. Division Avenue during the early morning of Jan. 17. The vehicle was occupied by two parolees who were not from the area, police said. Police talked with the occupants and searched the vehicle and found burglar tools.  Subsequent searches were conducted at the occupants’ residences, according to a news release, which led to the discovery of stolen TVs from another RV business in Eaton County. Sean Scott, 24, from Muskegon and Brian Prawdzik, 26, from Lansing were arrested and charged with possession of burglary tools and conspiracy to commit theft. Detectives are continuing to work with other jurisdictions that have had similar thefts.

In another case, investigators arrested Travis Blood, 38, from Grand Rapids in connection with numerous night-time home invasions in the Walker, Ada and Grand Rapids Township areas during a five-month period. Blood entered garages and stole credit cards in vehicles, police said. Retail store surveillance videos helped detectives identify Blood in numerous transactions. Blood was later charged with three counts of possession of a financial transaction device. Detectives are attempting to identify additional victims at this time.

In the third case, investigators identified and arrested two people in connection with more than 30 daytime home invasions during a four-month period. The crimes have occurred all over Kent County and neighboring Ionia County. Much of the stolen property, mostly jewelry, was pawned or sold, police said. Patrick Keeshan, 42, from Grand Rapids has been charged with home invasion, and resisting and opposing an officer. Marwan Tawachi, 31, from Gowen has been charged with home invasion.  Detectives are attempting to identify additional victims at this time.
