GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Even though it's hot, there's plenty of fun things to do inside either for free or for a minimal cost.

The Kalamazoo Valley Museum in downtown Kalamazoo always offers free admission.

Your local library is always a great free, air conditioned place to visit.  Read books, enjoy free Internet and check-out programs offered.

The Grand Rapids Children’s Museum is turning 15 years old, and on Tuesday you can help them celebrate with a cake and special discounted admission of $1.50 per person between 5 - 8 p.m.

The Grand Rapids Public Museum always has loads of exhibits to explore, including their newest one, Game On. Cost is $3 admission for kids under 17 and $8 for adults.

Get a day pass to the Kroc Center. The cost is $5 for kids under 11 and $7 for ages 12 and up.  The pass gives you unlimited use of the facility for a day including a fun indoor pool.

Holland Aquatic Center is a perfect place to cool off. Admission is $5.50 per person or $4.50 per person if you come in a group of four or more people.

The Children’s Museum of Fennville costs $3.50 per person

Celebration Cinema at Woodland Mall always offers movies for $3.99 per person, and right now they have The Lorax playing for kids.

Deanna’s Playhouse in Holland is a fun indoor children’s center.  The cost is $5 per person.

Head to www.amf.com and register your children to bowl for free.  You’ll receive a voucher for two free games at any AMF Bowling Center location.

Join Maranda for her next Park Party this Thursday at Northwestern Middle School in Battle Creek. The fun starts at noon.
